Fontana Nissan Secures Enthusiast Class Title Sponsorship!!

Wow!! Fontana Nissan has really stepped up to the plate by sponsoring the Enthusiast Class for all of 2010 in the Redline Time Attack Series!

The following press release was posted on the Redline Time Attack site detailing the involvement of Fontana Nissan in the series.

Rosamond, CA   February 22nd -  The Redline Time Attack Series is pleased to announce that Fontana Nissan has secured the Title Sponsorship of the Enthusiast Class. For the duration of the 2010 Season the Class will be officially referred to as "The Fontana Nissan Enthusiast Class". As part of Fontana Nissan's involvement with the series, the team at Fontana Nissan Racing will field two Franchise Cars: the #23 2009 Nissan R35 GT-R in Modified AWD and the #29 2007 Nissan 350z in Super Modified RWD.

Fans of Redline Time Attack will be able to catch both of Fontana Nissan Racing's cars at Round 1 of the 2010 Redline Time Attack Series @ Buttonwillow Raceway, March 26th-28th. The Team at Fontana Nissan Racing intends to make a run on both the Modified AWD and Super Modified RWD divisions of the West Region Championship with appearances at all seven West Region events.

Fast Lane Daily Episode on Time Attack

AutoStream, the premium automotive media network, has an online show entitled Fast Lane Daily.Leo Parente, the host, recently explored the rise of Time Attack as a viable form of automobile racing.

Watch closely and you will see the Fontana Nissan Racing Nissan 350Z as it competes in the Redline Time Attack events!

2010 Schedule Now Up !

Time to pull out your iPhone, Blackberry, a pen and the inside of your wrist,  or whatever you use to remember important dates and enter the 2010 schedule of events for Fontana Nissan Racing.

In 2010 we will be competing in the west coast Redline Time Attack events, which this year include the exciting world class venues of Infineon Raceway in Sonoma California and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

The July 4th event at Willow Springs International Raceway is rumored to be one long party with a full Fireworks show as well as fun and games for the kids, karting competitions, drag racing, and of course the Time Attack. Make sure you are planning to attend this event.

Click on the Event Schedule page to get the full schedule complete with handy links to each track website. You will need to make hotel or camping arrangements, line up the pet sitter, put the mail and newspaper on vacation hold, and get ready for many fantastic fun loud events full of fast cars, cute girls, and good times.

The first event on the list is Buttonwillow Raceway Park, March 26th, 27th and 28th.  Be there.

We Wish You a Fun Safe Holiday Season!!

All of us at Fontana Nissan Racing wish to thank all of our fans and vendors  for their support this past year. We have truly enjoyed meeting people at both the dealership meet and at the Redline Time Attack events in 2009. 

Our plans for 2010 include competing with both the 350Z and GTR in all  of the Redline Time Attack events.  We hope to see all of you out there next year!

We would like to wish everyone a very safe and enjoyable holiday season and a very happy New Year!!

We Feel So Appreciated !!

Fontana Nissan Racing attended the Redline Time Attack Customer Appreciation Day at the Street of Willow last Friday. Middle of December with the sun shining, 72 degrees, no wind (a miracle!), good cars, good people, good food. What more could you want!

Mike Cronin took the GTR out for a few  fast laps around the circuit before giving rides to some other lucky drivers.

A good variety of old and new Nissans and even a Datsun 510 were in attendance.

 

 

 

The NAGTROC group was well represented by Kunani, Soccer Dad and Greg S with their fine Nissan GTRs.

Professional driver Stu Hayner was providing world class driving instruction for all comers, novice and veteran alike, at no charge.

All in all, a great time was had by all. Thanks to Redline Time Attack for the hamburger barbeque lunch and a fun time!

Thanks to All Who Braved the Rain!!!

 

The Fontana Nissan Meet was a large success, thanks to all of the hearty folks who braved the rain and cold to come out and participate in the first of many Meets.  Many, many beautiful Nissan cars and trucks were brought over and displayed.  Fontana Nissan Racing displayed the 350Z Redline Unlimited Class racecar as well as the Redline Modified Class GTR.

Check out all of those GTR’s!!

The truck owners were the only guys happy about the rain! I’m sure they didn’t have to go far to find some mud to play in after the Meet.

Thanks also to the following vendors: Berk Technology, Injen, Adams Motorsports Park, HB Speed, KW Suspension, Motul,  Anarchy Eyewear, Dealer Services Direct, Synapse Engineering, Redline Time Attack, and Mode Racing. They not only came out but donated generously to the raffle.

The fine folks at Tommy’s Original brought out their cool truck and served up over 300 burgers in 2 hours. I need one of those trucks for the race weekends!! Really nice people with a killer set up.

The highlight of the day was the raffle, made possible by the generous gifts provided by all of our previously mentioned sponsors.
